In this week’s episode, we’re joined by a very special guest: Matt Schilling!
The former Grammy-nominated musician and singer from the hit Broadway musical Hamilton is a passionate advocate for musicians, and has a lot to say on the subject of copyright law, which is why we think he’s the perfect person to talk about the subject with.
Matt is an internationally acclaimed musician, who has been a part of several acclaimed musicals, including the award-winning musical Hamilton, the critically acclaimed Broadway musical Broadway Blues, and the Emmy-nomination-winning Broadway musical Love Is Not Enough.
He’s also a writer and producer of many films, including The Last Temptation of Christ and The Last Five Years.
The podcast has been praised for its thoughtful, funny, and informative content.
Matt joins us to talk all things music, from the latest music trends and trends to the most popular music of all time, including music from artists including Pharrell Williams, Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Bruno Mars, and more.
Listeners will also learn about the importance of proper copyright registration for musicians.
Matt has a long history of advocating for musicians and artists, and he’s passionate about music as well.
So, when we hear that he’s coming back to talk to listeners about his life as a musician, we jumped at the chance to have him join us.
We are also delighted to welcome one of the Beat team’s newest members, Joe Sturgess, to the Beat podcast.
Joe is a music journalist, who’s worked for publications like the Los Angeles Times and The New York Times, as well as publications like Billboard and MTV.
We’re honored to have Joe join us on the podcast, and we’re excited to bring him along for the ride.
Joe will share his experiences covering the music industry, from covering bands to writing music for radio and TV.
Joe also has a passion for music, and his love for the industry has been on display for years.
He recently shared an exclusive story about how he broke the story of the first Beat artist to be accused of plagiarism, and that inspired the Beat crew to pursue their own investigations into the matter.
