A new report from Music Business Worldwide reveals that Bluegrass has been given the green light to play in the big screen as part of the new Disney-Pixar movie “Brave.”
The report was released on Thursday, December 13.
It’s the first time that Bluebeard has been featured in a major musical feature, though Bluegrass had been attached to the film prior to its cancellation.
Bluegrass’ new movie will premiere in theaters this fall.
A representative for Disney- Pixar told the Hollywood Reporter that Bluefish will be featured in the upcoming film as a member of the Bluegrass Players.
Disney and Pixar have been collaborating on the project for several years and will make the movie based on Bluegrass song “Beautiful People.”
The new film will be a sequel to the 2009 film “Brave,” which was directed by Chris Buck and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, John Goodman, and Sam Rockwell.
