LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers will host a free concert on Saturday to honor LeBron James.
The event will take place at Quicken Loans Arena, which is set to open for the season on Friday.
James is the first player to host an event honoring a Cleveland Cavalier in more than 30 years.
In 2014, he hosted a charity basketball game at the team’s home arena, the Quicken Loan Arena, to benefit the Cavaliers’ youth and the NBA Players Association.
James, who is currently out with a strained left calf, is one of four Cavaliers to have hosted a free event for the team.
Former NBA champion Michael Jordan, who led the franchise to a championship in 1992, hosted a concert for the Cavs at Quicksilver Ballroom on April 15, 2006, and later in 2014, the team hosted a basketball charity game to benefit children’s charities.
This is the second time the Cavaliers have hosted the event.
The Cavs hosted the James Foundation Basketball Camp on July 7, 2010.
James’ performance will be followed by a charity game between the Cavs and the Los Angeles Clippers, which will feature a special pregame show, a halftime show and a postgame show.
James was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2008 and the Associated Press named him the top player in NBA history in 2013.
