If you’ve been looking forward to the new iPhones, then the Apple Watch Series 5 is now your best bet.
Apple is reportedly planning to release the first iPhone 5S model later this year, but there’s no official date set for the second model.
The Apple Watch 5S, however, is slated to debut later this month and is likely to sport a larger display, a larger camera, a more powerful processor and more sensors than the previous models.
While it’s still early days for the Apple watch, we do know that the first Apple Watch model will feature an all-glass design and sport a curved display, along with a slightly larger display and slightly larger body.
If that sounds familiar, it’s because that’s how we found out that the Apple logo on the back of the watch was a stylized version of the iPhone logo on Apple’s iconic smartphone.
While the AppleWatch Series 5 will have a 4.7-inch display, it will likely have a resolution of 5,200 x 1,440 pixels and will come with a 12-megapixel camera on its back.
Apple’s watch will also likely come with Bluetooth 4.1 wireless charging, as it does on the Apple iPhone 5.
It’s unclear if the Applewatch Series 5’s new glass design will be limited to the first two models, but AppleInsider has been able to confirm that the new Apple Watch will not have a traditional bezel.
Instead, Apple will reportedly ditch the traditional bezels that have been seen on previous Apple watches, including the iPhone 5, and instead feature an edge-to-edge design.
The new Apple watch will likely be powered by a dual-core processor that’s paired with the latest Apple A8 processor.
While we still don’t have a firm release date for the new Watch, we did find that the Watch Series 6 will debut in March.
The Watch Series 7 will launch in September, the Watch Edition will debut on January 31, 2020, and the Watch Sport will launch on February 16, 2021.
