ET President Donald Trump has denied any wrongdoing and called the latest round of congressional investigations “political witch hunts.”
Trump was answering questions in the White House briefing room Friday morning when he was asked if he had knowledge of Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.
Trump said he has no knowledge of the investigation and denied he had any involvement with it.
“No, I have absolutely no knowledge,” Trump said.
“No, sir.
I don’t know anything about it whatsoever.”
The president has said the probe is “politically motivated.”
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., announced Friday that he will hold a news conference Tuesday in which he will detail new information about the alleged Russian interference.
