Apple Music, the subscription service that has been available on the iPhone since last fall, has been officially free for a limited time.
Apple’s official description of the new service said that “Apple Music will be available for free for all customers of Apple Music in the US and Canada for a period of three weeks beginning March 21.”
“All users will receive a new iTunes gift card and the ability to subscribe to a new music subscription service for free, with Apple Music and its Music Unlimited membership offering,” the company said.
Apple Music was launched last fall by Apple to bring streaming music to Apple devices.
It allowed users to stream music from services like Pandora and Spotify, and also offers a variety of other music options.
Apple Music offers a subscription service with a $10 annual fee, and the subscription will be automatically renewed on the new iPhone or iPad.
